Sophomore year is an important time to begin building a thoughtful foundation for the college process. My work with sophomores is designed to provide clarity, direction, and early planning without overwhelming the student.

• Develop a comprehensive timeline to prepare for the college admissions process 
• Conduct an in-depth interview to explore academic strengths, interests, and extracurricular involvement 
• Review transcript and course selections to ensure a balanced approach to rigor and personal interests 
• Discuss summer planning and provide resources for meaningful activities and experiences 
• Introduce standardized testing options and outline strategic considerations 
• Prepare students for key steps in the college application process ahead 
• Meet to assess academic progress and provide ongoing guidance for success

Junior year is a critical stage in the college planning process. My work with juniors focuses on building strategy, clarity, and a strong foundation for senior year.

• Conduct in-depth interviews to guide planning for the final two years of high school and post-secondary goals
• Review the student’s high school transcript, course selection, and extracurricular activities.
• Develop a detailed college admissions timeline, including a personalized SAT/ACT testing plan 
• Create a balanced, individualized “long list” of colleges based on academic profile, interests, preferences, and long-term goals
• Offer insights on effective college visits, including tips on questions to ask and key factors to observe.
• Provide access to resources and software for researching colleges.
• Identify summer and extracurricular activities to align with the student’s interests and goals.
• Assist with refining the college list during the summer between junior and senior years.
• Provide ongoing academic check-ins and guidance to support continued progress.

Senior year support is designed to guide students through every stage of the college application process with structure, strategy, and personalized support.

• Finalize a balanced college application list
• Guide students through all aspects of the application process, including essays, short answers, activities, and application platforms
• Develop a detailed application timeline to ensure all components are completed on schedule 
• Provide comprehensive college essay support, including brainstorming, feedback, and revision guidance
• Prepare students for college visits and interviews, including what to ask, observe, and consider 
• Conduct full application reviews prior to submission
• Offer general guidance for completing Financial Aid forms and identifying merit scholarship opportunities tailored to the student and their college list.
• Meet with students throughout the early part of senior year and as needed.
• Maintain ongoing communication with students and families to monitor progress and deadlines 
• Provide flexible, on-demand support throughout the senior year as needed
