- Review the student’s high school transcript, course selection, and extracurricular activities.
- Develop a detailed timetable for college admissions preparation, including a personalized SAT/ACT testing plan.
- Create a balanced and personalized “long list” of colleges based on the student’s interests, strengths, test scores, grades, and preferences (e.g., geographic location, size, affordability, majors, and long-term goals).
- Offer insights on effective college visits, including tips on questions to ask and key factors to observe.
- Provide access to resources and software for researching colleges.
- Identify summer and extracurricular activities to align with the student’s interests and goals.
- Assist with refining the college list during the summer between junior and senior years.

- Finalize a balanced “College Application List” of schools to apply to.
- Assist the student through all aspects of the college application process, including essays, short answers, extracurricular activities, and creating, navigating, and completing their applications.
- Evaluate application options for each college (e.g., early action, early decision, regular decision).
- Develop a timetable for completing application components (e.g., essays, activities list, application questions).
- Prepare students for college visits and interviews with actionable tips on timing, questions to ask, and what to observe.
- Provide college essay support through brainstorming sessions, expert tips, and feedback (editing and suggestions).
- Conduct a comprehensive review of each college application before submission.
- Communicate with students and families to review academic progress and monitor deadlines.
- Offer general guidance for completing Financial Aid forms and identifying merit scholarship opportunities tailored to the student and their college list.
- Assist with the review and evaluation of acceptance offers.
- Meet with students throughout the early part of senior year and as needed.
- On-demand accessibility to address questions and provide support as needed.
